About the artist
Titania Snoek is a young artist, born and raised in Leiden. She has been active as a painter for 14 years now, mainly locally but recently also abroad. She has already had several expositions in Leiden, but also in Montreal and she has worked in Germany and France. Her work is also sold all over the world, from Canada to Ireland and from Germany to New Zealand.
In her career she has developed into an abstract artist and her main focus is color. In her images she works with elements from nature combined with man-made structures. She does this partly through use of certain materials but also by composition and use of visual elements. The bright colors give her work a powerful stance and the layering and depth really speak to the imagination. Titania describes her work as mirrors of the soul, and not just of her own. The viewer is encouraged to recognize himself in the paintings, thus bonding with the piece. This is why many people often find a very personal reason why a certain piece appeals to them.
Paintings can be ordered via the website. Titania is prepared to work on commission. Pieces can be paid off in installments.
